It has been a long and lonely year without you. The birds are coming home; the buds on the trees are beginning to awaken, and the flowers are peaking out after a long winter's nap. I know how you loved springtime - how you loved to watch as the trees and bushes took shape after a long and cold but much needed rest. Somehow, it seems that we will all come home this summer and there you will be just like we all remember... • • • • • • • • • An Enlarged Heart I worked so hard to put the dishes away correctly in the dishwasher, clean the counters and etc. I reached a high frustration level when it seemed I could do nothing right that day. The smell, the softness of the skin, and of course just the complete abandonment of the baby to the safety of the parent's arms are blessings beyond anything the world has to offer... • • • • • • • • • Psalm 45 - Love Spring is blowing over the land once again and its breath feels so refreshing after a long, snowy winter. As the season changes and the flowers begin to bloom, I am drawn to Psalm 45. It is one of my favorites and is set to the tune of "Lilies." It is easy to see the fitness of borrowing a name from so beautiful, so pure, so choice, so matchless a poem as the golden lilies, whose bright array outshone the glory of Solomon... • • • • • • • • • Trust TURN WITH ME TO JER. 17:7-8 THE AMPLIFIED SAYS: "MOST BLESSED MEANS ACCORDING TO WEBSTER'S 1828 EDITION HAPPY, PROSPERROUS IN WORLDLY AFFAIRS; WE ARE ENJOYING SPIRITUAL HAPPINESS AND THE FAVOR OF GOD; we even enjoy heavenly felicity (rather great happiness; blissfulness and appropriately the joys of heaven.)" If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life - these do not come from the Father but are from the world. (I John 2:15-17 AMP) God created things - useful and pleasant - for us before He made us on earth.
